Terms of Sale
& Refunds.
The rest of this website is a joke. This page is not. It sets out plainly what you are paying for, how to get your money back, and what we keep.

This website is operated by Asking Company, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Asking Company, and "you" means the person making a payment.
You can contact us at any time by email: solzelic@gmail.com.
When you make a payment on this website you are buying one Certificate of Nothing: a digital certificate recording your payment, the amount paid, and your giver number (your position in the sequence of everyone who has paid).
- The certificate is delivered immediately on screen once your payment is complete, and you can download it as an image file.
- Nothing physical is shipped. No further goods, services, rights or benefits are provided or promised.
- The certificate is a novelty item. It does not represent ownership of anything.
- Prices start from US$1. The exact amount is always shown to youbefore you pay.
- You may choose to pay more than US$1 by accepting the optional prompts that offer to double the amount. You are never required to pay more than the amount you confirm.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered into Stripe's secure payment form and are handled by Stripe, not by us. We do not see or store your card details.
- Each payment is a single, one-time charge. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
- Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees (for example, currency conversion fees). Those are outside our control.
If you want your money back, you can have it.
- Email solzelic@gmail.com within 30 days of your payment.
- Include your receipt (or the email address you paid with, the date and the amount) so we can find the payment.
- We will refund the full amount to your original payment method.No questions asked.
- Refunds are issued through Stripe. They usually appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
If something has gone wrong with a payment — a duplicate charge, an amount you did not intend, or a charge you do not recognise — please email us first. We will sort it out.
- After paying you may choose to add a name to the public ledger on the home page. This is optional. If you leave it blank, no name is shown.
- The name you choose must not be offensive and must not impersonate another person or organisation.
- We may edit or remove any name from the public ledger at our discretion, at any time, without notice. Removing a name does not affect your payment or your certificate.
- If you would like your name removed, email us and we will remove it.
For each payment we store:
- the name you chose for the ledger, if any;
- the amount paid;
- the date of payment; and
- Stripe's payment reference, so that we can find the payment for refunds and enquiries.
Stripe processes your payment details (including your card and email address) under its own privacy policy.
We only send you emails if you choose to subscribe to them, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted (subject to any records we are legally required to keep), email solzelic@gmail.com.
A payment on this website is a purchase of a novelty digital certificate and nothing else. It is not:
- a security, share, equity, token or ownership interest of any kind;
- an investment or a loan, and it carries no expectation of any return; or
- a donation to a registered charity, and it is not tax deductible.
Asking Company is a satirical project. The company figures, staff, corporate structure and other material elsewhere on this site are written as satire. See thesatire disclaimer below.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you make a payment applies to that payment.
Asking Company is a satirical project. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security, and no security, equity, share, unit, token, or ownership interest of any kind exists or is contemplated. Financial figures quoted elsewhere on the site are real but trivial; forward-looking statements are almost certainly false. Persons named as employees do not work here and have not been contacted. None of this affects your rights under these terms: the price, the certificate, the refund policy and the privacy commitments above are meant exactly as written.
